The NCC plays a vital role in moulding the character of young men. It lays stress on developing qualities of leadership among the cadets and also inculcating in them the spirit of sportsmanship.

Aims of the NCC :

  • To develop qualities of character, courage, comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, spirit of adventure and sportsmanship and the ideal of selfless service among youth to make them useful citizens.
  • To create a human resource of organized, trained and motivated youth, to provide leadership in all walks of life including the armed forces and to be always be available for the service of the nation.

This company is under the command of Dr.(Major) R. N. Singh from Dept. of Economics. The total strength of the combined wing of Army boys and girls is. Our Company is the final word inside the campus to maintain discipline and decorum. The cadets have been actively participating in almost all wide ranging activities which include tree plantation, blood donation, literacy mission programme, leadership building programme, adventures activities etc.

The cadets through N.C.C quota can eye for a decent career for their better life. Many cadets have been inducted in the Indian Armed Forces and in other services as well since its inception. This coy is providing career guidance, classes for cadets in getting placement in Indian Armed forces and the information wing is equipped with job opportunities for students also.

Many cadets have distinguished themselves by being part of the C.G. Contingent in the Republic Day Parade. The NCC unit of our college is doing wonderfully to hold the college flag high and inspires many to be part of the fold. NCC offers many incentives through the ‘A’ ‘B’ and ‘C’ certificate examinations It enhances their chances to get inducted into the army services.
